Teas are as varied, or maybe even more varied than wines. It is within the nuances of aroma and flavor that we find the delight the tea maker has been able to create as a result of their craft.
It is within the leaf shape that we find the clues that tell us what we will experience in the cup when we get to enjoy the tea.
Take note of the variety of leaf shapes of the specialty teas, and learn to enjoy and appreciate them for how they have been created, what they are, and for how they will reward us in the cup.
